I’ve been using the Primos Trigger sticks (tripod version) for the past year and have developed an opinion on their usefulness as both a shooting rest and a miscellaneous tripod. As a shooting rest, they work every bit as well as you’d expect them too. They are expensive, yet, they are really your only option for something that is free standing and adjustable with one hand. As a miscellaneous tripod, I find them to work great for everything that would require a short tripod (self filming on the ground, glassing, etc). They would make an excellent option for shooting tight turkey patterns, helping out new shooters, or holding steady for longer shots.
