Public land turkey hunting in WI during season E of 2016. By this point, the birds have received some pressure, and it took a while to find a good roost spot that was tough to access for other hunters. Eventually, through scouting I was able to find an area where turkeys had been pushed into from the pressure, and got set up extra early.
The three beards were 10.5″, 8.5″, and 8.0″. The spurs were 1 1/8″, and the gobbler weighed 20 pounds.
