A DIY tip to climb trees higher, faster, and lighter when using climbing sticks. Back in 2013 I made a climbing stick modification video showing how to make double stirrup extensions. While they’ll work for full length sticks as well as mini sticks, more often than not, a single stirrup will be better suited to full length sticks. This video also shows an update on how you can keep the stirrup open with a lighter method than the paracord and rope cobra weave.
